Aluna hail from the West Midlands, UK and formed in the summer of 2006. The female-fronted psych blues doomsters initially travelled around the country playing with the likes of Trouble, Paradise Lost, Winnebago Deal, Winters, Toner Low & Taint which led to a track from their initial demo being featured on the Bad Acid Tab 6, Sound Of The Catacombs and Ninehertz Vol.2 compilation albums & gain airplay on Kerrang! Radio`s Johnny Doom show. 2008 saw their debut release hit the shops in the form of the Fall To Earth EP on Catacomb Records. A tour of England including shows with the creme de la creme of the UK `Stoner / Groove / Doom` scene such as Orange Goblin, Blood Island Raiders, Litmus, Suns Of Thunder, Obiat & Witchsorrow to promote Fall To Earth followed.
